Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Crypto Macro & Policy Calendar track?
It tracks scheduled U.S. economic releases and Federal Reserve events that can affect market expectations, including inflation, jobs, growth, housing, and interest-rate decisions.
Are all times shown in U.S. Eastern Time?
Yes. Every event time in the calendar is shown in U.S. Eastern Time, including daylight-saving adjustments when applicable.
What do Actual, Forecast, and Previous mean?
Actual is the verified number released by the official source. Forecast is the available consensus estimate before the release. Previous is the prior reported value, which may later be revised.
Why is a forecast sometimes blank?
A forecast stays blank when no verified consensus estimate has been imported. The calendar does not invent estimates.
What happens after a report is released?
Once verified data is available, the release moves into Previous Releases with its Actual, Forecast, and Previous values. A readable report can then explain the result and its broader market context.
Can I set an email reminder for an event?
Yes. Select “Set reminder” beside an event, enter your email address, and choose when you want the reminder sent.
Does this calendar predict crypto prices?
No. It tracks scheduled macroeconomic and policy events that may influence market expectations. It does not predict Bitcoin, crypto, or any other asset’s price.
